The new Porsche Cayenne was presented to the world community on the stage of a special event held on August 29, 2017 in Stuttgart. The model is a full-fledged third generation, and not another planned restyling. At the same time, the appetites of the engine are quite “democratic”- 9.2 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers in a mixed cycle. For fans of hotter, the manufacturer has prepared a version with the index “S”. It is based on a similar six with a volume of 2894 cubic centimeters. Thanks to the increased boost pressure, it produces 440 HP and 550 Nm. In this version, the Cayenne accelerates to 100 km / h in 5.2 seconds and reaches 265 km/h. Despite the increased power and dynamics, fuel consumption is almost unchanged and is about 9.4 liters in the same mode. The top – end version of the Turbo S boasts a V-shaped eight with an advanced turbocharging system. A solid liter allowed engineers to squeeze 550 horses and 770 Nm of thrust. With such a herd under the hood, the crossover shoots up to a hundred in 4.1 seconds, accelerates to 286 km / h and consumes 11.9 liters in the combined cycle.
