The record-breaking Chiron has a number of differences from the standard model. The W16 engine with four turbochargers is boosted from 1500 to 1600 “horses”. The new tail unit made the car 25 cm longer: the stretched stern should increase downforce and, in addition, play the role of an air flow stabilizer. And the four tailpipes of the exhaust system even protrude beyond the size of the body, so that hot exhaust gases affect aerodynamics as little as possible.
